The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, assisting in managing all food/beverage outlets within the hotel. May be responsible for staffing, scheduling, and training of staff as well as coordinating special events.

Hyatt Regency DFW has five restaurant outlets that the Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for. Each outlet varies in hours of operation. Therefore, the Assistant Restaurant Manager must have a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

* At least 1 year of supervisory experience
* Four -five years of Food and Beverage experience in either restaurants or bars preferred.
* Must be certified by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) prior to working. (Hotel may assist during the application process)
* Hospitality degree preferred
* Must be able to push/pull/carry up to 10 lbs. and have the ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
* Schedule expectancies include holidays, weekends, A.M. and P.M. shifts
* A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
* Refined verbal communication skills.
