You will be working at Moka, our coffee bar at the Grand Hyatt DFW. The Grand Hyatt is located in the heart of Terminal D at the DFW International Airport. Being in such a prominent location this restaurant attracts a globetrotting clientele with its variety of globally-inspired cuisine. Our guests are surrounded by technology and cutting-edge style. From our show kitchen down to our imported flatware, our guests know from the moment they walk in they are in for a treat.
Barista/Retail clerks independently ensure that the retail outlet and inventory are neatly organized and attractively displayed. This position is responsible for making product recommendations and processing forms of payment to include room charges, credit cards and cash for novelty items. Clerks are the final point of contact for the experience and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.
Moka baristas infuse the guests with a level of service that reflects sophistication, creativity and a desire to leave the guests craving more!
This is a job in which each service reflects the style that brands Hyatt as a top hotel company in our market. You will become a pro at selling the best quality food beverage products as well as assisting guests in purchasing items they need to enjoy their stay.

Qualifications

Preferably at least one year of knowledge and experience in retail cash handling.

Must be able to physically spend a lot of time on your feet.
*
Must be available to work a full-time schedule from 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 12 a.m and some over night shifts as well. (Flexible days of the week - including weekends - and holidays)

Must have the ability and confidence to communicate well with guests from all walks of life and a team of associates representing different cultures.

Must be able to work independently and be resourceful in dealing with customer satisfaction challenges
