The Engineering Director reports to the Divisional Director of Engineering Operations and Design and ensures that Hyatt's product and brand standards and the integrity of its design standards are maintained for the building services, fire and life safety, security and IT systems. He/She also assists the Divisional Director of Engineering Operations and Design in overseeing the adherence and proper implementation of Hyatt's policies, procedures, best practices and brand standards as they relate to the Engineering function. In addition he/she is responsible to assist the hotels' Director of Engineering and support the hotels in their renovations.
Qualifications
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Engineering, or Engineering Manager in larger operation.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
