This exciting new position will be responsible for helping to shape and execute Hyatt's global social presence. Specifically, the Associate Manager, Social Media Marketing, will be responsible for helping to develop and execute the social media content and engagement strategies across all of Hyatt's full service brands. We are committed to becoming a leader in the social space and are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic team member who understands and is excited about the role social media plays in marketing.
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions: ·Responsible for helping to develop and execute social media content and engagement strategies for all of Hyatt's full service brands ·Increase brand awareness and traffic to brand channel sites by developing an editorial calendar of activities and communications that maintains relevant and engaging content ·Increase engagement by effectively managing day-to-day social presence (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media programs/communities) ·Identify opportunities for Hyatt's full service brands while helping to understand emerging technology and new media trends ·Assist hotels with brainstorming and executing creative socially driven initiatives ·Work closely with Marketing, Public Relations, E-Commerce, Legal and Analytics to deliver social media strategies that align with brand promotions and communications ·Establish consistency of message across multiple social media channels
Qualifications
·Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus ·3-5 years of experience in business to consumer marketing, preferably in the travel industry ·Demonstrated passion and experience in social media with a proven track record of developing and executing social media communication plans ·Must have a strong understanding of how social fits into online and offline marketing ·Public relations, advertising or digital agency experience is preferred ·The individual we are seeking for this position will be articulate and possess strong organizational, communication and project management skills ·Excellent writing, editing and verbal skills; ability to write with different voices for different brands ·Ability to work in fast-paced environment, multitask responsibilities, meet deadlines and be accommodating to urgent projects ·Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required along with familiarity with Omniture, Google Analytics and social listening tools is preferred
