Work with Directors, Vice Presidents, and above to outline Application Strategies and Roadmaps for Revenue Technology Applications in support of corporate strategies and objectives.
Manage medium to large system integration with strategic Hyatt Vendors for North America and International.
Manage a budget of $7 Million annually and a team size of 20-30 resources, including in internal, external, outsourced, and offshore.
Demonstrate ability to quickly comprehend a diverse application Inventory and develop business, functional and architectural strategies for key components.
Responsible for managing the delivery of new applications and enhancing existing applications that support Revenue Technology, both for North American and International.
Provide leadership and direction of increased delivery productivity through the use of leading edge development tools including GUI builders, SOA architecture, transaction managers, and development environments such as Eclipse, and methodologies such as Agile.
Knowledge of Informix and Oracle database development tools including Informix 4GL, EGL and business process design languages. Knowledge of Java, C and C# programming tools and practices.
· Manage projects & budget in scope of $7 Million, with proven success
· Responsible for managing the development of new applications and extending or improving existing applications that support Revenue Technology
· Demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend a diverse application inventory and develop enhancement or replacement plans for key components
· Manage teams of internal staff and external resources
· Manage medium to large system integration initiatives
· Ability to deliver new applications and enhance existing applications that support Revenue Technology for both North America & International.
This position reports to the VP Applications Development.
Qualifications
5-10 years as Manager (directing external & internal resources)
10 years of development of large transaction based systems
Bachelors degree in a business or technical discipline required
Master's degree preferred
Project Management Certificate preferred
Knowledge of Informix and Oracle database development tools including Informix 4GL, EGL and business process design languages
Knowledge of Java, C and C# programming tools and practices
