The person will be responsible to ensure conformance to Hyatt International's design and engineering standards for all new Hyatt branded hotel projects in Asia Pacific. Job duties include overseeing the design of all engineering systems and reviewing the design specifications and drawings from the conceptual design stage through project completion. In addition, the person will be responsible to review existing hotel operations and provide guidance and strategic direction to improve Engineering performance.
Qualifications
The candidate must have a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
Engineering design experience is required.
Technical knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, fire and life safety, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and low voltage systems is necessary.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Putongua are essential.
The position requires regular travel.
Prior experience working on hotel projects and projects in China will be an asset.
