A Catering Coordinator assists in the execution of events & meetings in banquet rooms at Andaz West Hollywood. This position works directly with Special Events Managers in planning and facilitating contract negotiations, programs, banquet event orders, rooming lists and diagrams. Catering Coordinator will assist in hosting site inspections, lead meetings and coordinate billing. Duties include but are not limited administrative support, arranging menus, setting agendas, servicing meetings, handling of VIPs and facilitating communication before, during and after events with hotel staff to ensure high levels of service. Experience with banquet food, beverage and logistical planning is preferred.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
Prefer a four year hospitality degree or equivalent experience
Prefer 18 months hotel experience
Geographically mobile

Pay Basis: Hourly US Dollar (USD)
