The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Security Manager and within the limits of established Hyatt International policies and procedures and Car Park Standards Manual, the Car Park Attendant is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the car park whilst preventing avoidable loss to the hotel, guests and staff, whilst aiming to provide a safe, hazard free environment for both guests and staff within the car park.
Keeping the car park clean and tidy including use of a dust cart to clean internal car park and external perimeter around the hotel
Gritting car park slop when appropriate
Washing cars as and when requested
Carry out frequent patrols of the car park, including regular checks of the perimeter. Ensure any appropriate doors are locked and free of fire and health hazards.
Meeting and greeting customers whilst ensuring controlled access to and from the car park, including searching of vehicles
Maintaining ticket machine including stocking the machine
To ensure no unauthorized persons enter the car park and to ensure that all persons properly seeking admission are courteously received and assisted.
Report al alleged cases of crime or potential crime including theft, loss, damage to both guest, and staff or Hotel property to security department.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the same or similar role within a five star hotel environment. Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must. The successful candidate will have a full valid UK driving licence.
