In this role you will be required to maximise total revenue potential across assigned market segments. The role requires a focus on relationship building, co-ordination of successful events for existing clients and generate future MICE business from existing and potential clients. You will also be obliged to complete tasks pertaining to the overall operation of the department and support to the Event Sales team.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have: Minimum 2 years work experience in an event management position, preferably in a luxury international brand hotel Diploma / University qualification in Sales & Marketing and / or Hospitality Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop and establish working relationships with both internal/external clients Ability to work under pressure to both meet and exceed client expectations Good computer and administration skills with experience in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes Knowledge of Delphi will be an asset Please note: Only permanent residents or citizens of Australia will be considered for this vacancy.
