The Assistant Director Revenue Management Consolidated Center oversees the maintenance, implementation, development and measurement of all Revenue Management practices, initiatives, and staff within the RMCC, ensuring multi-property execution of transient and group pricing and inventory strategies that optimize revenue capture from existing demand. The ADRM is also responsible for the oversight of the Revenue Managers and Revenue Analysts. Including, but not limited to, training, mentoring, assisting with evaluation, etc. The position reports to the Regional Director of Revenue Management.
Qualifications
· Daily maintenance of Revenue Management Systems for all hotels to ensure compliance with operating standards · Conduct and lead Strategy, Daily Business Review and Group Pick Up Meeting · Maintain Relationships with OTA Market Managers · Participate in all Tentative Review, Sales and Marketing Meetings · Identify market trends by analyzing data, and implement strategy to maximize revenue · Create accurate forecasts (Monthly year end updates and Annual Budgets) · Work with Business Travel Sales Managers to provide data and pricing · Responsible for leadership and training of Revenue Managers and Analysts · Complete all monthly and quarterly reports for Corporate and Ownership and actively participate in Owner's Meetings · Maintain and review all group target rates · Review Group Booking Cycle with DOS and designate need dates · Approve inventory requests, pattern changes and extension of cut off dates for definite groups · Execute all transient rate changes via the Rate Management Tool · Ensure strategic compliance to all Hyatt revenue management best practices and business strategies · Coordinate with Director of Sales, Director of Catering and Director of Food and Beverage to establish Booking Guidelines · Actively participate in approval of 3rd Party contracts · Analyze decisions made in Strategy Meeting/work with Revenue Manager on predicted outcome · Maintain market share/index growth by utilizing data sources and reports available · Update revenue management tactics in the Hyatt LMTS system Experience · BS/BA Degree required · MBA strongly desired · 4 year college degree or equivalent and a minimum of 7-10 years hotel experience with a focus on revenue management, sales and marketing and operations. · Expert in revenue management concepts, processes and systems · Proven skill at setting pricing and inventory strategies for group and transient segments · Working knowledge of internet distribution channels · Strong analytical ability and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) · Proven ability to manage to all levels of management · Strong problem solving, decision making and follow up skills · Experience with conducting training, both one on one and with groups · Willingness to travel · Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills · Strong knowledge of spreadsheet software and other analytical tools · Demonstrates confidence, energy and enthusiasm, able to focus on the big picture
