The Manager E-Commerce Product Development reports to the Director E-Commerce Product Strategy and Development and works with a group of product development managers and consultants. This role interacts with several vendors located in the United States and India supporting E-Commerce product development. This manager will focus on enhancing the Search and Booking engine experience development efforts. Projects will include major booking engine enhancements, Search and Mapping integration, profile management, mobile web experience improvements and internationalization and language support for web product offerings.
Candidates for this role must have experience directing online product development efforts, managing budgets and vendors, and working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. This is a hands on product manager role which does require a deep understanding of Internet technology, standards and trends. A strong IT/Technical System Analysis background with familiarity integrating web applications with Reservation systems, order management systems, Property management systems and/or Loyalty program systems is highly desired. Good understanding of databases, structured streams of data, Internet security protocols, and SEO/SEM tagging best practices is a big plus.

Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
·Collaborate with global leaders in marketing, operations and customer support to develop E-Commerce product line strategies and roadmaps
·Conduct competitive analysis, help devise product development roadmaps, and construct detailed business requirements in support of Internet and Mobile product development efforts
·Project manage website, mobile web and app development vendors and related contracts
·Manage and execute product development projects within budget and on-schedule
·Communicate project status to the Director of E-Commerce Product Strategy and Development and other stakeholders
·Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values

Qualifications
·5+ years managing E-Commerce product development projects
·A strong IT/Technical System Analysis background with familiarity integrating web applications with Reservation systems, order management systems, Property management systems and/or Loyalty program systems is highly desired. ·Bachelor's degree required
·MBA or equivalent preferred
·Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors and budgets
·Hotel or airline online experience strongly desired
·Detailed knowledge of hotel reservation or airline reservations systems a plus
·Excellent planning, strategy, analytical, communications, user interface and project management skills
·Experience in dealing with multiple and diverse internal stakeholders
·Strong leadership and presentation skills
·Experience working with web content management systems a plus
